PEACH MIRACLE

The worst part of peach harvest is September. The heaviest part of our orchard all ripens at the same time. My husband's birthday is September 15. I had no idea how I was going to get rid of over 150 cases that morning. I had no orders. I headed off to Tooele on a wing and a prayer. I drove around asking people I saw on the streets if they wanted to buy any peaches. I did not have a lot of takers. It was 4:00 and I knew I still had a huge load of peaches to sell, and I would need a peach miracle to make it home in time to celebrate my husband's birthday with his parents, and my 5 kids. I sat in my car and said a prayer asking Heavenly Father to please help me make it home in time, so I wouldn't disappoint everyone. I asked the next person I saw on the street if they needed some peaches, and they told me "sure." They bought 3 cases, and left, and I gave them my cell phone number. They called me back, and said the peaches were so good, they told some people they knew, and said if I went back to the Chevron station, they would send people my way. In less than an hour, I sold every single peach, and still had people coming for more. I was so humbled that my prayer was answered so quickly. My miracle lady, who blessed my life that day is Reagan. She continues to sell peaches for me every year in Tooele, and I call her my miracle lady. I came home and told my children that I had a peach miracle, and that's why I was home in time for their dad's party. My oldest daughter said "I know mom, I prayed and asked Heavenly Father to help you sell your peaches so you could be home for dad's party."
My family and I are peach farmers. My husband felt the need to buy a peach farm and we are still wondering why. We go in the hole every year, however, the experiences and the blessings from having this farm are priceless. I am in charge of getting rid of all the peaches every year. When we first had the peach farm, I did not know how to sell one peach, and we had a bumper crop of around 4,000 cases of peaches. If you are not able to sell your peaches, they rippen too fast, and you cannot sell them because they go to mush. I cried every day our first year because I had to get rid of 200 to 400 cases of peaches every day for 7 weeks. I started asking Heavenly Father for help, and I have learned over the years that he is always there for me. Every year, we have amazing experiences that bless our lives, and the lives of others, all because my husband felt inspired to buy over 1100 peach trees. I will list some of the experiences here and there for you to read in the hopes that you will be inspired to truly believe "ask and it shall be given" when it is for a good thing, a non-selfish thing, our peach miracles always happen and we have just come to expect them. I do not cry every day anymore, wondering how I'm going to get rid of our peaches. I get excited and expect the miracles to come.
